Measuring 5.38 x 2.78 x 0.34 inches (136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6 mm) while weighing 4.70 ounces (133 g), the handset is slim and light when compared to other phones with the same size screen. In the hardware package, the 16 GB Sprint Galaxy S III supports data expansion from microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC memory cards up to 64 GB in size, and a full 2.0 GB of RAM system memory is present. A customizable equalizer joins a preset equalizer in the music player that is built into the handset’s multimedia package, where a YouTube video player is also found. Popular online destinations Facebook, Twitter and Picasa have also been pre-installed, and the front facing 1.9 megapixel chat cam can be used to place video calls, and also to take portrait snapshots. The 8.0 megapixel camcorder integrated into the back of the Sprint Galaxy S III provides video capture at 1,080P HD resolution, and can also snatch still snapshots while simultaneously recording high definition.
