galaxynote3The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is definitely one of the larger handsets in the mobile marketplace. The original Galaxy Note delivered a 5.30 inch display, the Galaxy Note II pushed that to 5.55 inches, and the huge, high-resolution screen on the Galaxy Note 3 runs a full 5.70 inches. But that does not mean the handset is larger than its predecessor. Actually, overall the dimensions of the Galaxy Note 3 show that it has a smaller form factor and the Galaxy Note II, while still delivering a larger display.

You can purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note III at a reduced price tag stating at $249.

And this is the first time that the Galaxy Note smartphone/tablet delivers a Full HD display, offering a resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels. And Samsung spreads more than 16 million independent colors across the screen at a rate of 386 color pixels located over each inch of display space. This is also the first mobile handset to offer a generous 3 GB of RAM system memory, and you can expect to pay around $249 on contract for this powerful, big-screen phablet.

The phone rolled out in late September this year, and offers the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out-of-the-box. Slim despite its large size at 0.33 inches (8.3 mm) in thickness, the powerful Galaxy Note 3 draws a lot of juice to operate. However, with special proximity and light sensors that automate typical tasks and help conserve battery power, the extended life 3,200 mA cell on board can deliver a whopping 25.0 hours of talk time from a single charge.

Standby time runs more than three weeks, an Adreno 320 graphics processor is on board, as is a microSD slot for storage expansion. In the wireless access department, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and infrared technologies are present. The IR sensor allows you to use your Galaxy Note 3 smartphone as a remote control for your HD television and home theater system. And the rear facing camera has been beefed up from previous Galaxy Note smartphones as well.

A 13.0 megapixel shooter graces the back of the Galaxy Note 3, delivering a self timer so you can add yourself to all the action. ISO control, exposure compensation, white balance presets, a multishot burst mode and digital image stabilization are other personalization features on board. Video is recorded at 1,080P HD and 60 frames per second, but the camcorder is also capable of recording video in an incredible 3,840 x 2,160 pixels (4K) at 30 frames per second. A front facing chat cam is also on board, lending video call support. You can purchase the Galaxy Note 3 starting at $249.
