droidultraMotorola designed a line of phones for 2013 to fit different personalities and desires. All of the handsets are slim and deliver excellent battery power, but the Motorola Droid Ultra was designed to be the slimmest 4G smartphone in the entire mobile marketplace. Despite the ultra-skinny 0.28 inch (7.18 mm) profile, the slim 4G smartphone running on Verizon delivers an excellent 28.0 hours of talk time, web surfing, video playback and other usage after a full battery charge.

The Motorola DROID ULTRA is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $0.01 – $599.99.

And weighing 4.83 ounces (137 g) makes the Droid Ultra light considering the large 5.0 inch display, impressive hardware package and durable Kevlar backplate on board. Continuing the rugged profile of the handset is a layer of scratch resistant Gorilla Glass which protects the display, a 5.0 inch AMOLED screen with a True HD resolution of 720 by 1,280 pixels. One of the most popular features on board the Motorola Droid Ultra 4G is available because of the integration between Google Now and a special language processing core that the Motorola X8 Mobile Computing System delivers. Simply say, “OK Google Now,” and the Motorola Droid Ultra is ready for your voice commands, powering up even if it was currently in standby mode.

Droid Zap allows you to instantly share content in the cloud with any Android handset owner who is nearby, as long as they are running Jelly Bean 2.2 or higher. If you would like to only share with certain people, you can attach a personal identification number (PIN code) to that content, which must be required for access. The phone also delivers what Motorola is calling Active Notifications, which only illuminates the portion of the display which is needed for the notification.

This helps conserve battery power, and the intelligent Active Notifications ability saves your notifications for later, if it is tucked into your pocket or purse, or lying display side down, further helping battery conservation. The 2,130 mA extended life battery on the Droid Ultra is also capable of nearly 2 weeks of standby battery power after a full charge.

The hardware package on board the slim Droid Ultra 4G includes a dual core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, a quad core graphics processor, 2.0 GB of RAM memory and 16 GB of built-in data storage. Google Drive has added extra free cloud storage, and the Motorola Droid Ultra sports a rear facing 10.0 megapixel snapper. Delivering autofocus, an LED flash and several other customization features, the main camera provides video capture at 1,080P HD resolution at the rate of 60 frames per second. Up front is a chat cam, offering video call support as well.

The Motorola DROID ULTRA can be purchased at a discounted price tag now starting at $0.01 – $599.99.
