droidrazrmThe Motorola Droid Razr M delivers attractive features, but does so in a very compact form factor. The designers at Motorola pulled the display on the front of the handset from edge to edge and corner to corner, effectively eliminating the bezel. This still allowed for a large 4.3 inch display design, but made the handset as small as possible. Motorola has also included an enhanced life battery, and the Droid Razr M is still slim and light.

At 4.82 x 2.40 x 0.33 inches (122.5 x 60.9 x 8.3 mm) and 4.44 ounces (126 g), the Droid Razr M 4G is substantially smaller, lighter and thinner than other smartphones that offer a large 4.3 inch screen. Also, the handset delivers the Jelly Bean operating system and 4G LTE speeds. The Droid Razr M is exclusive to the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network, but can also run on EV-DO, Rev A 3G and CDMA 800/1900 frequencies. And if you go out of country, the phone is compatible with worldwide GSM and 3G networks.

Verizon Wireless has what is without argument the largest 4G LTE system in the United States, and speeds on that network run 5 to 12 megabits per second (Mbps) on downloads, and 2 to 5 Mbps on uploads in a real world, loaded network environment according to Verizon. The handset also delivers the Chrome for Android mobile web browser, allowing you to sync your handset with your favorite PC.

Verizon offers their exclusive and free Backup Assistant service on the Droid Razr M 4G, which automatically saves a backup copy of your mobile contacts in your online address book. This way, if you ever lose your phone or it is stolen, you will not have to go through the time-consuming and mind-numbing process of re-entering all your contact information. The Verizon Visual Voice Mail service is also on board, enabling you to reply, delete and forward voice mail messages without voice instructions or having to cycle through your entire message list.

That feature also allows you to create up to 10 separate and unique caller ID-based greetings, save up to 40 messages for a full 40 days, and respond via text, voice mail or call back. The large 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED screen delivers a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, at a rate of 256 pixels per inch. More than 16 million colors are present on that display, and DLNA wireless video out is supported. Charging in as little as four hours, the 2,000 mA lithium-ion battery on board the Droid Razr M delivers a full 20.0 hours of talk time from a single charge. Video capture runs 1,080P HD resolution on the rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder, and the handset is powered by a dual core 1.5 GHz Krait CPU.
