Not many smartphones end up selling more than 10 million units in their lifetime, and only the most popular smartphones of all time have reached the 50 million unit sales mark. That milestone was passed this year by the popular Galaxy S III, and the handset is closing in on 60 million sales. The most popular variant has been the 16 GB model, but with such a low retail price tag on the 32 GB model with a standard two-year contract, sales are no doubt going to explode on this particular version.

Sprint began their first ever 4G LTE system late last year, and that network in the United States has grown to more than 58 major markets. Sprint is actively expanding their 4G LTE network in the US, and has stated that their goal to cover the majority of the US is on schedule to be completed by the end of this year. This gives the powerful Galaxy S III a blazing network to run on, and while the phone does deliver a large display and a full featured hardware package, the handset is not bulky or fat.

The Galaxy S III 32 GB model for Sprint measures a wafer thin 0.34 inches (8.6 mm) in thickness, and also weighs less than similar 4G smartphones, tipping the scales at just 4.70 ounces (133 g). The screen runs a large 4.80 inches, spreading more than 16 million separate colors across the display at the rate of 306 pixels per inch. This gives the Sprint Galaxy S III a True HD designation with a resolution of 720 by 1,280 pixels. The Super AMOLED display is protected against accidental mistreatment with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 2.

The phone includes a front facing VGA quality chat cam and rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder in its camera combo, delivering simultaneous HD video and image capture, a special effects package, and several high-end camera features. Video is recorded in 1.080P HD resolution and 30 frames per second, and a dual core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon CPU runs the show. A full 2.0 GB of RAM system memory is on board, as is a microSD slot for storage expansion.

The Samsung Galaxy S III 32GB can be purchased at a discounted price tag now starting at .
