htconeverizonIn today’s smartphone world, the HTC One is perhaps one of the most impressive handsets currently available in the smartphone market today. It is the current flagship device of Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC and with this status comes the fact that the HTC One is filled to the brim with fire-breathing components in its interals. Aside from that, the handset also boasts of a zero-gap aluminum unibody construction that not only gives it a very attractive design aesthetic but a solid build quality as well.

The HTC One 4G is still available for Sprint and AT&T a reduced sale price now starting at $49.99.

Because of these attributes, the HTC One also became very popular among the smartphone-buying public. In fact, it is the one handset that the Taiawanese smartphone maker is banking on to make it more competitive in the smartphone market. This is not to say that HTC handsets in the past are not worth a look. In fact, HTC released a couple of very capable smartphones in the past couple of years such as the HTC One X, HTC One X+ and the like – it’s just that the HTC One is what could turn the tables around in favor of the manufacturer.

The HTC One has been available for quite some time now and is already available in the shelves of all major carriers in US shores – with the exception of Verizon. Big Red however has already caved in and decided to add the HTC One to its stable of Android-powered devices, but until now, the carrier is yet to make an announcement as to when its version of the HTC One is set to make its debut in the shelves of the wireless provider.

Previous rumors suggested that the HTC One is set to hit the shelves of Verizon on August 1 but since the carrier is yet to drop word about the supposed launch of the handset, we are assuming that the release of the handset has been pushed back yet again. But if you are really interested in making the Verizon HTC One your next smartphone, the handset is said to get released in the next couple of weeks.

The information comes from our source who claimed that Big Red is set to launch the HTC One on August 15 which is just two weeks from now. No confirmation on this yet though so you guys better take this information with a grain of salt. Should more details become available, we will let you know immediately.

Going back to the HTC One, some might say that the handset is “old news” now because it has been available in the shelves for quite some time now. This doesn’t change the fact though that the handset is still one of the most powerful devices around. Powered by a QualComm AQP8064T SnapDragon 600 chipset, the HTC One relies on its quad-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 processor and 2GB of RAM to keep its performance at peak levels. The handset comes in a 32GB and 64GB version in terms of storage capacity and has a 4.7-inch Super LCD3 screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The handset’s camera department is also very impressive with its rear 4MP UltraPixel shooter and front 2.1MP video call and self-portrait snapper.

The HTC One 4G can be purchased at a discounted price tag for both Sprint and AT&T now starting at $49.99.
