Lumia1520Nokia might have just recently been purchased by Microsoft, but that is not going to stop the company from moving forward at a time when they are just about to start gaining some of the market share they have lost over the last few years.  The Lumia series of Windows Phone powered devices has certainly put the company  back on the map for now and it looks a new handset for the series has recently been leaked online according to reports.  The reports indicate that the new Lumia 1520 from Nokia has been leaked via Twitter and by the looks of it, one might considered it a tablet.

While the images are of a device that is too large for a smartphone, but at the same time, too small to be a 7-inch tablet, there will be plenty of speculation brought by them.  The image leaked from a Twitter account that is well known for getting consumers information early about new devices that are about to hit the market.  While some of them do not always make it to the market here in the United States, all of the leaks are worth checking into in case you are ready to upgrade your smartphone to the next best thing.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 is very large and might even hit the 6-inch mark in terms of the size of the touch screen display.  A rumor from earlier this year indicated that a 6-inch device was going to be coming with the Lumia name, but as of right now there is no indication that the leaked image is showing us that device.  On the other hand, since now other information was given along with the tweet, the rest of the details can only be assumed.  Since Microsoft will be adding support for 1080p displays, it would be easy to assume that the Lumia 1520 will arrive with one.

The overall design of the device sort of looks like a good combination of the Lumia 925 and the Lumia 920, if you can picture that. On the sides of the device, you can see all of the buttons, including one for volume, camera, shutter and the power.  On the back side of the device you can clearly see the camera sensor, which is most likely going to be the PureView with Nokia’s new Camera Pro software.
