The Samsung Galaxy SIII that was recently released appears to be in direct competition with not just the existing iPhone but even the future version of the popular Apple smartphone. There are several fronts on which it appears to be superior and more appealing to customers and this is something that even Apple fans cannot deny. While iPhone sales are still at unattainable heights it seems that the flagship device from Samsung is very popular with organizations that are following a Bring Your Own Device policy.

For starters, the Samsung Galaxy S III has a whopping 4.8” display that trumps over the 3.5” screen of the iPhone. It is superior in terms of resolution as well and makes working easy. The going trend is that larger displays are clearly the better ones and there are hardly any phones with bigger screens than the SIII. Next, conventional as it might seem, the removable battery of the SIII works quite in its favor though the hidden unibody design of the iPhone might have greater aesthetic appeal.

While regular consumers might not care about having multiple batteries, it matters to those who are heavily reliant on the smartphone for their professional lives and travel a lot. On the inside, the SIII is far more powerful than the iPhone with a quad core processor and with the 1.4GHz clock speed, it is pretty hard to beat. It is unclear what processor will be featured with the iPhone 5 but it will definitely be hard to beat the benchmark set by Samsung.

One area where Apple damaged itself is with the proprietary dock connector. The Galaxy S III has a microUSB port for computer connectivity and charging making it very versatile and compatible with a whole range of alternates while the iPhone’s dock connector allows it to be used with only its peripherals and accessories. In addition, the 2100mAh battery of the SIII helps it in lasting longer than the iPhone can ever dream of. Phones with large screens are known to drain juice quickly but the SIII is trying its best here.

The SIII also delivers some nifty user interface with the best Android experience seen so far and since it is pretty smooth, using the huge application storehouse will not be a problem. The NFC capabilities are surely going to make users’ lives easier in the future. Apple’s new iPhone will have tough competition when it releases but it will be interesting to watch the battle.  While we are not allowed to advertise the price reduction of the Galaxy S III at the various wireless carriers offering the handset, we can assure you that it is well worth checking out and beats the carrier price tag significantly.  Buy the Samsung Galaxy S III at the reduced price!
