The Galaxy Note II 4G Android phablet is the first Samsung smartphone to deliver Android’s 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out-of-the-box. That OS promises extra graphics capabilities, and the upgraded Google Now contextual search virtual assistant. Receiving SAFE designation, the Galaxy Note II delivers additional security features which protect your sensitive data and all your communications. The handset was officially announced on September 19, and is available in gray or white. With the largest display offered by a smartphone, a quad core processor and 2.0 GB of RAM system memory, the handset arrived on the T-Mobile operating system on October 24 in the United States.

The Samsung Galaxy Note II for Sprint is now available at a special introductory reduced price now starting at 279.99.

T-Mobile has promised speeds up to 42 MB per second on their HSPA+ network, and the popular smart stylus S Pen delivering handwriting recognition technology has returned from the original Galaxy Note. When you remove the S Pen from the Galaxy Note II, the handset automatically launches the S Pen menu. The most commonly used S Pen applications are then available for one touch access. And if you forget to replace the smart stylus when you are through, visual and audible alarms remind you.

Some of the major S Pen applications include the Easy Clip cropping feature. You can instantly outline and crop content on any screen you are viewing, and save, share or paste. Once you have cropped the intended image, editing options like coloring and shading, and even adding your own personal handwriting, are available. Air View lets you hover the S Pen over calendar entries, your image gallery, video, and e-mails to preview your content without opening. You can also use this feature to preview web content without opening a site on the Samsung Galaxy Note II for Sprint.

Idea Sketch is a keyword driven process for quickly adding illustrations in e-mail messages, text messages and other applications. When you hand write a keyword with the S Pen, illustrations are provided for you choose from. This provides an instantaneous and time-saving way to add images, and you can even add your own images to the illustrations library. With Quick Command, the Galaxy Note II S Pen activates applications used most often. One upward swipe on the screen with the S Pen button pressed down opens this application.

The large 5.55 inch Super AMOLED display is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 2, and provides a touchscreen with a 16 to 9 aspect ratio for true HD video viewing. Screen resolution runs 720 x 1,280 pixels, and talk time runs 15.00 hours from a single battery charge. The handset is powered by a quad core 1.6 GHz central processor, and the 16 GB of built-in storage are accentuated by a microSD slot which supports cards up to 64 GB in size. An 8.0 megapixel camcorder provides video capture at 1,080P HD resolution, and a Stereo FM radio with RDS is built-in.

You can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note II for Sprint at a special introductory reduced price starting at 279.99.
