For those interested in getting their hands on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, this baby has been available in US shores and across the pond in the European continent for quite some time now – since the middle of August to be exact. However, the device with its stylus goodness is yet to make its way over north of our borders in Canadian territories for that matter. However, we got wind of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is about to hit Canadian shelves and we got this juicy tidbit from Best Buy.

The retail giant has already listed the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and is expected to become available in our next door neighbors up north in a couple of weeks – in September 26, to be exact. The Wi-Fi only version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 comes with a price tag of $499.99 but the 3G/HSPA+ version of the tablet is still unlisted as of the moment. Should you be interested in rocking this baby for your next tablet of choice, you can now mark that date on your calendar and start counting down the days because the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is about to hit Canadian shelves.

For those living under a rock for the longest time and have no idea what the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is, this is the big brother of the original stylus-packing Samsung Galaxy Note phablet released in US shores via AT&T early this year. Obviously as it name states, the tablet comes with a 10.1-inch display and has all the goodness everybody enjoyed on the Galaxy Note, albeit now on a much, much larger screen real estate.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has dimensions of 262 x 180 x 8.9 mm and it tips the scales at 600 grams. With its very slim waist line, it is only a hair thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S and it also gives off a very classy and elegant air. It has a solid build quality and its catch weight means that it is very comfortable to hold and play with even for extended periods of time.

Of course, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is not just a beauty on the outside. It is also an absolute beast inside. It shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for its operating system and this draws power from the tablet’s Exynos 4412 chipset which gives it quad-core capabilities. The processing power required to power its operation is delivered by its quad-core 1.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and 2GB of RAM and its storage space comes up to 32GB. A user also has the option to add as much as 64GB of storage by using the microSD card slot in its chassis. Display-wise, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 packs a 10.1-inch PLS TFT panel with a 1280 x 800 resolution and it comes with a 5MP shooter at its rear panel capable of recording 720p clips while its front bezel is home to its 1.9MP video call and self-portrait camera.
