As of the moment, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is one of the most powerful handsets currently available in the market today. In fact, the second generation Samsung phablet comes with fire-breathing components under the hood that are said to be more powerful than those found in the internals of the Samsung Galaxy S III, the current flagship device of the Korean electronics giant. Because of that, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is also very popular among our smartphone-crazed brethren and is said to join the Samsung Galaxy S III in a potent one-two punch combination in Samsung’s bid for domination of the smartphone market.

The Samsung Galaxy Note II for ATT is available for a reduced price now starting at $199.99.

However, the Samsung Galaxy Note II doesn’t only boast of its very powerful internals – the second generation Samsung phablet also boasts of very impressive capabilities that it brings to the table. Take the case of the massive screen real estate of the handset for example. With a display this big, you actually have the option of running two applications side by side at the same time on the screen of the Samsung Galaxy Note II. In fact this feature is already available in the version of the Samsung Galaxy Note II released internationally but is yet to come to the AT&T variant of the phablet released in US shores.

In fact, the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II is the only version of the smartphone that does not have this functionality but subscribers of the carrier who rock the phablet for their mobile weapon of choice no longer has to wait for the said feature to become available on their respective devices. As it stands, AT&T has already confirmed that it is about to push out an update that will bring the Multi-Windows Split Screen feature to its variant of the device and we quote,

“AT&T plans to begin rolling out a software update for Samsung Galaxy Note II customers that includes the Multi-Window feature, which allows the user to divide the screen into two active “windows” creating a split screen that enables fluid multitasking between applications. The update will be available for download over the air beginning Dec. 27.”

Be reminded however that based on the statement from AT&T, the update may only be a minor one and will only enable the multi-window feature on the ATT Samsung Galaxy Note II 4G and will not come with something heart-stopping such as Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

As for the Samsung Galaxy Note II, the phablet has its circuitry built around its Exynos 4412 Quad chipset which comes with a quad-core 1.6 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and a staggering 2GB of RAM. Storage space onboard the handset is pegged at 16GB but a microSD card slot in its chassis enables memory expansion on the device. In terms of its display, the Samsung Galaxy Note II comes with a gigantic 5.5-inch SuperAMOLED HD panel made from Gorilla Glass 2 with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels while its camera department features a rear 8MP shooter and a front 1.9MP snapper.

You can purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note II for ATT at a discounted price now starting at $199.99.
