In today’s smartphone world, the original Motorola Droid Razr Maxx made it big in the smartphone competition because it offered what other handsets couldn’t – an incredible battery life. It was in fact the major selling point of the device and true enough, the massive 3300 mAh power pack in the chassis of the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx gave it an unbelievable battery life like we have never seen in the past. With this type of battery, there is no need to plug the handset to a wall outlet at the end of the day because it still has plenty of juice for the morrow.

The Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD is on sale for an introductory low price now starting at 199.99.

Sad to say, we already have to say goodbye to the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx because its successor, the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD, has finally arrived. That being said, the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD has finally made its debut in the shelves of Verizon and is now available for public consumption. We remember the handset as one of the triumvirate of Droid Razr devices unveiled by Motorola a couple of weeks back.

The Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD is almost similar to its predecessor in the sense that it also packs the same 3300 mAh battery but the glaring difference is that it comes with an upgraded hardware DNA along with an HD display. For those interested in picking up one of these bad boys, the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD is now available for mass consumption and can be had for $299.99 at Verizon with a new two-year service agreement, or at select online retailers for a special introductory price of $199.

The Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD 4G was unveiled by Motorola last September and ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for its operating system but the manufacturer has already confirmed that the handset will also get upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in the near future. The handset has dimensions of 131.9 x 67.9 x 9.3 mm and it tips the scales at 157 grams. The handset is also one of the latest additions in the LTE lineup of Verizon which subscribers can make use of to take advantage of all the benefits that its LTE network brings to the table.

Under the hood, the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD got significant upgrades compared to its predecessor. It has its circuitry built around its QualComm MSM8960 SnapDragon chipset which basically brings to the table a dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor along with a full gigabyte of RAM. Storage space on the device is pretty generous with its internal memory pegged at 32GB. Not only that, memory expansion is also possible on the handset with its dedicated microSD card slot. Display-wise, the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD sports a massive 4.7-inch SuperAMOLED panel with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels while its camera department includes a main 8MP shooter at its back panel and a 1.3MP video call and self-portrait camera out front.

Buy the just released Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD for a reduced special introductory price now starting at 199.99.
