droidrazrmThe Droid Razr M 4G Android smartphone debuted as a compact, lightweight handset with a large 4.30 inch display. When it landed on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network last September, it debuted with a $99 on contract price tag. The handset has since then received an upgrade from Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) 4.0 operating system to Jelly Bean 4.1, and currently stands at $0.01 on contract in the Amazon Wireless store. The global ready handset is capable of connecting to networks in more than 205 countries around the world.

The Motorola Droid Razr M is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $0.01.

Smartphone shoppers who want it all demand a large display. But they also want a handset which is not bulky or heavy, and is not as thick as a brick. Motorola Mobility designers figured out a recipe for the best of both worlds when they created the Droid Razr M 4G. The screen is large at 4.30 inches, but the phone’s overall dimensions only measure 4.82 x 2.40 x 0.33 inches (122.5 x 60.9 x 8.3 mm), making it slim and compact compared to other phones with the same size display.

The Droid Razr M 4G is also light comparatively, weighing 4.44 ounces (126 g). While compact, slim and light, the handset boasts 4G LTE connectivity on the largest LTE network in the US, as well as functionality on EV-DO, Rev A 3G and CDMA 800/1900 frequencies where 4G LTE is not available. The Chrome for Android mobile browser has been pre-installed, and allows you to “spy” on your desktop, laptop or tablet PC also running Chrome.

Motorola has added their SmartActions power saving application to the Droid Razr M 4G, helping the handset deliver a full 20.0 hours of talk time from a full battery charge. Previous Droid Razrs delivered a durable design motif, and so does the Droid Razr M 4G, with a DuPont Kevlar back plate, aircraft grade aluminum framing and water resistant nanocoating. The 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED screen delivers an overall resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and 16 million separate colors, and offers scratch resistance with a Gorilla Glass coating.

A Bluetooth Stereo music player and YouTube video player are present in the handset’s multimedia package, and the Droid Razr M 4G offers 8.0 GB of storage space built-in. A microSD slot allows for storage expansion, and 1.0 GB of RAM system memory is also pre-installed. The dual core Snapdragon CPU has been clocked at 1.5 GHz, and joins an Adreno 225 GPU in the handset’s hardware package.

You can purchase the Droid Razr M at a discounted price tag now starting at $0.01.
