droidrazrmSmartphone shoppers are a fickle bunch. Sometimes, popular features and applications today are unwanted tomorrow, but there are always a few things which seem to be required on a successful smartphone. Currently, large high resolution screens are in vogue. And since smartphone use is not just about making and receiving telephone calls any more, and we use our handsets for activities like surfing the web and watching movies, the display is even more important still. Thanks to wonderful high-resolution technology, the larger the display the better.

The Droid Razr M is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $0.01.

But large displays can create heavy, clunky, fat phones. So the best of both worlds would be if a manufacturer could create a slim, compact and light smartphone that offers 4G LTE power and connectivity, and also delivers a large screen. That handset is now in existence thanks to Motorola Mobility, who designed the compact yet big-screen Droid Razr M 4G. By stretching the display from edge to edge and corner to corner Motorola designers were able to create the smallest possible smartphone.

However, since the Droid Razr M 4G runs on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE system in the United States, speedy access is available on the largest 4G LTE network in the US. Thanks to their space saving efforts, Motorola has created a handset which weighs only 4.44 ounces (126 g), while measuring 4.82 x 2.40 x 0.33 inches (122.5 x 60.9 x 8.3 mm) in size. Those measurements make the Droid Razr M 4G smaller, thinner and lighter than other 4G smartphones with a 4.30 inch display.

The Verizon 4G LTE powered handset can also function on any global 3G and GSM networks, and delivers the Chrome for Android web browser and Jelly Bean operating system out-of-the-box. Chrome allows you to sync your Droid Razr M handset with your laptop or desktop computer, even viewing tabs that you may have left open on that PC. The power conserving SmartActions application join conservative light and proximity sensors in producing a generous 20.0 hours of talk time from a single charge. The 2,000 mA battery on board the handset also offers a full 17.0 days of battery standby power.

The Droid Razr M 4G is powered by a dual core 1.5 GHz central processor, and the 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED display on board the handset offers 540 x 960 pixel resolution. A scratch resistant layer of Gorilla Glass protects the display, and 1.0 GB of RAM system memory joins 8.0 GB of built-in data storage in the handsets hardware package. The camera combo includes a front facing chat cam with video call support, and a rear facing camcorder with 1,080P HD resolution video capture.

You can purchase the Droid Razr M at a discounted price tag now starting at $0.01.
