Motorola has been extremely successful with their entire Droid Razr line, beginning with the ultra-skinny Droid Razr 4G which was the thinnest handset ever built when it was released. The next Droid Razr iteration was the Droid Razr Maxx 4G, delivering the most out-of-the-box data storage as well as the best talk time of any 4G smartphone from a single charge. Both of those phones deliver high-end features and performance in a slim, durable form factor. The Motorola Droid Razr M4G Android smartphone takes the best that those phones have to offer, and squeezes them into a more compact design than is offered by most 4G LTE smartphones.

The Motorola Droid Razr M is available at select online retailers for a reduced price tag now starting at 49.99.

Measuring 4.82 x 2.40 x 0.33 inches (122.5 x 60.9 x 8.3 mm) and weighing 4.44 ounces (126 g), the Motorola Droid Razr M 4G is offered in your choice of either black or white. Released on September 10 in the United States on the 4G LTE system of Verizon Wireless, the handset delivers the Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) 4.0 operating system out-of-the-box. The Droid Razr M is currently undergoing an over the air transfer to the 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and stretches its display from edge to edge to deliver one of the smallest overall packages that offers a 4.30 inch display.

Above average pixel density for a 4G smartphone is delivered at 256 pixels per inch, and this gives the Super AMOLED Advanced screen and overall display resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. More than 16 million independent colors are used to render visuals, and capacitive, multitouch gestures are used to navigate the handset. Light and proximity sensors offer auto brightness adjustment and battery conservation, and the familiar DuPont Kevlar back plate and aircraft grade aluminum construction return from previous Droid Razr models. A layer of Gorilla Glass is also present to protect against scratching, and DLNA connectivity provides video out options.

The handset delivers a generous 20.00 hours of talk time from a single charge of the 2,000 mA battery on board, and standby time runs approximately 17.0 days. The system chip on board is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 package, and is built around a dual core 1.50 GHz Krait central processor. An Adreno 225 GPU focuses exclusively on graphics processing, and the handset delivers 8.0 GB of built-in storage, as well as 1.0 GB of RAM system memory. The on board microSD slot allows for storage expansion, supporting cards up to 32 GB in size.

The Droid Razr M 4G contains a rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder which provides video capture at 1,080P HD resolution. There is also a front facing VGA quality chat cam which provides video call support. Google lets itself be known throughout the handset, delivering Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk and Picasa integration. The built-in music player supports all major audio file formats, and Near Field Communications (NFC) support offers access to multiple wireless applications.

You can buy the Motorola Droid Razr M for a lower price at select online retailers now starting at 49.99.
