iphone5s5cApple has hit the jackpot with its iPhone line of smartphones and this year marked the first time that the company offered a lower cost, entry level option at the same time it released the higher end model.  Apple released the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C in the United States just a few weeks ago and just as everyone expected, the company sold millions of units in the first weekend the phone was available.  This also marks the first time that Apple made the iPhone available in more than just two colors.

Later on this month, Apple will be taking the iPhone to more countries as it moves the very popular smartphone into places like Italy, Russia, Spain and more.  In the early part of next month, India and Mexico will be getting the new devices as well.  All told, Apple will have the iPhone selling in more than 50 countries worldwide increasing the global hold that the company has on the smartphone market.  Starting on the 25th of October, the iPhone 5S and the 5C will be ready to ship in places like Croatia, Denmark, Greece, Ireland, Malta, New Zealand, Norway, Poland and more.

Starting on the 1st of November, Apple says the iPhone 5S and the 5C will be coming to places like Albania, Armenia, Bahrain, Colombia, El Salvador, Guam, Guatemala, Macedonia, Malaysia, Moldova, Montenegro, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and more.  Apple is hoping to be selling the new iPhone models in more than 100 countries by the end of this year.  Judging by the list that was just announced, Apple will be able to reach that goal with little standing in its way.  As of right now you can get both of the new models in the United States, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Pueto Rico, Singapore and the United Kingdom.

The iPhone 5S is the higher end device that was released this year and cost just $199 with a new two-year contract via your mobile carrier.  The iPhone 5C is the lower cost, entry level device that is just $99 with a new two-year contract.  There are some third party retailers that have discounted the devices already including Best Buy, Radio Shack and Wal-Mart stores.  Apple sold more than 9 million devices on the first three days it was on sale.
