iphone5s-iphone5cIt was a few years before pre-paid networks were selling the iPhone models that Apple releases, but in the last couple that has been one of the best places to pick one up with a pre-paid network and no contract.  Naturally, you are going to be paying more for the device, but it will not be tied to any contract and in some cases, it comes with unlimited talking, texting and data.  After the new iPhone models were released a couple weeks ago, Sprint had the best deal for subscribers, but according to new information coming from Virgin Mobile, that is about to change.

Technically, the Virgin Mobile network works on Sprint towers so it should not be any surprise that the company has announced lower iPhone costs, since Sprint did it as well.  The deal, is going to be about $100 less, on both models, than what Apple currently charges for the iPhone in an unlocked edition without any contract.  The announcement from Virgin Mobile came a couple of days ago and includes the pricing for the 16GB iPhone 5S for just $550, while the iPhone 5C is going to be priced at just $450.

If you are looking for more space, Virgin Mobile will be offering that as well.  For up to64GB of internal memory, you can get the iPhone 5S for just $750.  The lower cost, entry level iPhone 5C can be picked up at nationwide retailers, but if you want the iPhone 5S, you are going to have check out the online store that Virgin Mobile has setup.  The new models of the iPhone have been available there for just a couple days and for those of you that wanted the gold model iPhone 5S, you are going to have to wait as the Virgin Mobile website also has it marked “out of stock”.

If you are not family with the Virgin Mobile plans, the company offers plenty of affordable choices that include unlimited data.  If you want unlimited data and unlimited messaging you can get that plan for about $35 per month and that includes 200 minutes of talk time per months.  Even though the plans are called “unlimited”, in terms of data, the company is going to be capping that at just 2.5GB each month, but at least you will not be charged any overage fees.
