htconeYou know that old wives tale about bad things always happening in threes? Well evidently, for the HTC One running on the Sprint 4G network in the United States, good things also come in packages of three. The Sprint HTC One 4G running on Sprint recently received an announcement stating it would be updating to the Sense 5.5 Android user interface. Also, Google has decided to add to the free 15 GB of Google Drive space which all Google users receive for HTC One owners.

The HTC One 4G is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $19.99$0.01 – $599.00.

HTC One owners have been given an extra 25 GB of free virtual storage space in the Google cloud, and the handset running on Sprint has also been reduced to bargain-basement levels. One of the most powerful smartphones ever designed, the HTC One 4G on Sprint is now currently available for just $19 on contract. That trio of good news simply makes an already popular smartphone an even more attractive choice, and the handset has sold well since its launch on April 19 in the United States.

One of the top three sellers of the entire year, alongside the Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S4, the HTC One 4G delivers wireless control through an infrared sensor, Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA, NFC and Wi-Fi technologies. The handset just this week was announced to eventually receive the new Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, with HTC promising a delivery “within 90 days.”

The phone delivers the sense 5.0 Android UI currently, and the update should bring upgrades to performance, while delivering a less intrusive interface. While the phone delivers a power-packed hardware package and extended life battery, the HTC One is still slim, measuring just 0.37 inches (9.3 mm) in thickness. The large 4.70 inch Full HD display boasts a pixel density of 468 ppi, the best thus far obtained by a smartphone.

That gives the display an overall resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels, and a second generation layer of Corning Gorilla Glass protects the Super-LCD 3 display. The battery on the handset is sealed, but worry not about having to frequently replace it. The 2,300 mA juicer is capable of a full 16.5 hours of talk time after a full charge, as well as 8.5 hours of video playback. The brain trust on the HTC One is built around a powerful quad core Snapdragon 600 CPU which has been clocked at 1.7 GHz, 32 GB of storage is built in, and 2.0 GB of RAM system memory is present.

The HTC One 4G can be purchased at a discounted price tag now starting at $19.99$0.01 – $599.00.
