The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE system routinely offers average data rates of 5 to 12 megabits per second (Mbps) for download speeds, and speeds from 2 to 5 Mbps when uploading data, applications or other content. The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE smartphone debuted on July 5 on that speedy Verizon 4G LTE wireless network, and offers Android smartphone shoppers a powerful processor, above average 4G battery life, the full range Beats Audio sound system and simultaneous HD video and image capture in stereo sound, but in a smaller, easier to carry smartphone chassis.

The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE is currently available for purchase starting at $99 at select online retailers.

The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE smartphone delivers the latest version of Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) 4.0 out-of-the-box, as well as providing the latest HTC Sense Android user interface, v4.0. The handset supports multitouch, capacitive gestures for device navigation, and powering the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE is a Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon microchip package with a dual core 1.2 GHz Krait central processor at its core. That CPU benefits from a separate Adreno 225 GPU that handles all graphics processing, and 1.0 GB of RAM memory is on board, as well as 8.0 GB of built-in, user accessible data storage.

The HTC Video Pic feature located on the rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder allows for snapshots to be captured while simultaneously recording high resolution video in stereo sound. That video is captured at 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (1,080p HD) and 30 frames per second, and that camera also provides a quick snapshot capture feature from the home screen. Face and smile detection, autofocus, geo-tagging and a back illuminated sensor (BSI) are also featured on the Droid Incredible 4G LTE. A front facing VGA quality chat cam is also on board, and provides portrait snapshot capabilities as well as video call support.

Talk time runs approximately 20% better than the 4G average at 9.57 hours after a single battery charge, and the multimedia package on board the handset includes a YouTube video player, built-in music player and the full range Beats Audio sound system. The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE smartphone also supports Near Field Communications (NFC) technology out-of-the-box, which means access to wireless data share apps like Android Beam, and wireless payment processing offered by applications like Google Wallet. The 4.0 inch super LCD touchscreen makes the handset smaller and easier to handle than the larger, bulkier, heavier smartphones with similar features, and delivers a display resolution of 549 x 960 pixels at 275 pixels per inch. A layer of Corning Gorilla Glass offers scratch resistance, and over 16 million separate colors are used to render visual displays.  You can buy the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE smartphone starting at $99 at select online retailers.
