droiddnaThe HTC Droid DNA 4G Android smartphone was the first handset to offer a pixel density of 441 ppi. This means that there are 441 individual color pixels located over each inch of display space, a feat which had not been achieved on a smartphone before the handset arrived in November of last year. Recently the phone received a price cut all the way down to $0.01 on contract, and the powerful, big-screen device runs on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE system in the United States which covers more than 440 major markets.

Running on the pervasive Verizon Wireless 4G LTE system in the United States, the Droid DNA 4G can supply up to 12.6 hours of talk time from a full battery charge.

Aside from the powerful quad core processor and GPU, the phone’s hardware package includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 system chip and 16 GB of built-in storage space. The premier 8.0 megapixel rear facing camera on the Droid DNA 4G offers many customization features and special effects, recording video in 1,080P HD resolution. Video can also be captured simultaneous to taking HD snapshots, and a continuous shooting mode is offered. The phone also delivers a front facing chat cam which provides Skype and video call support.
