After the launch of Nokia Lumia 1020, enthusiasts are really wondering whether this fall will play host to another revolutionary device. For starters, a total of seven such devices are expected in this fall, features of which will be described in the course of this article.

First on this list is Motorola’s Moto X. A device that places great importance on functionality instead of specs, the Moto X promises to be one of the most innovative launches this year. Google is believed to be making it as customizable as possible, allowing functions like Moto Magic Voice which listens to user commands at all times. A fast camera with a new interface is also on the cards. All this is expected to be offered at an affordable price, which only increases expectations even further.

Next on this list is the LG Optimus G2 or simply the LG G2. The phone has been leaked through images and videos on the internet and any surprise surrounding the features seems to have been eliminated. This is the first phone to employ the volume rocker on the back, thus straying from the usual design. Rumours claim that the phone will combine a 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor with 3 GB of RAM, a 13MP shooter at the back and a 5.2 inch display at full HD resolution. These specs make it one of the most powerful smartphones in the market today.

Next we have the Samsung Galaxy Note III. The Note series will soon be into its third generation after this phablet is launched. Rumours indicate that this version will span 5.7 inches in length. There haven’t been many rumours that show us the features that this device is expected to have. Specs of the Galaxy Note 3 are expected to be similar to the G2, but with a larger display, of course.

Sony Honami makes up the fifth item on this list. Primarily a cameraphone by nature, the rumour mill has been questioning whether this will challenge the newly unveiled 1020 Pureview Lumia phone. It is expected to be Sony’s flagship phone this fall. Completing the list is the Apple iPhone Lite and the iPhone 5S. There is no solid rumour for the former and nothing much can be said about the latter either. However, a few leaks have indicated what the iPhone could look like. Whether Apple will be able to win customers with these two products in the face of ferocious competition.
