sonyxperiazSony is about to release a new smartphone that is reportedly going to arrive with accessories that include interchangeable camera lenses that should set the phone all the way apart from any other smartphone that can take a clear picture.  The Xperia Z1 has leaked numerous times and at this rate Sony is not going to have much to talk about when the IFA event starts in a couple of days.  The IFA is slated to start on Wednesday of this week and there are plenty of consumers waiting to see what the fall season is going to offer them.

The XperiaBlog  was showing off a bunch of high resolution images of the Sony Xperia Z1 “Honami” smartphone and they were listed as final press images.  The images do not really show consumers anymore than they already know about the smartphone, but they are nice and clear and look very professional and one could assume they are the final images.  One of the phone’s features that is sure to take the press event by storm is the 20.7MP G Lens-branded camera sensor on the backside, which comes with a dedicated camera button and Sony’s OmniBalance design.

Besides the larger than life 20MP camera, the phone is said to feature the Snapdragon 800, quad-core processor from Qualcomm and if that is true, the phone would be featuring one of the fastest processors on the smartphone market today.  To go along with that super fast processor, Sony has decided it was going to add a 5-inch display that will feature a 1080p HD display which is becoming more of a typical feature these days.  The Xperia Z1 is set to take over where the Xperia Z left off as Sony’s flagship model.

Because Sony is expected to showcase the handset in the next could of days, it should be expected to arrive in stores later on this month.  The sooner the handset can get to the stores the better chance that Sony has of competing with the Galaxy Note 3 and the iPhone 5S, both of which that will also show up  on the market very soon.  Other rumors are hinting that the Sony is about to release cameras that connect to Android and iOS powered smartphones.  The QX10 and the QX100 will include lens stabilization and will cost $250 and $450, respectively.
