The Nokia Lumia 928 4G Black is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $29.99.

HD gamers will be able to pick up different levels of weaponry by first earning points through battles over 25 separate missions. Developed by Vanguard Games and 343 Industries, Halo: Spartan Assault will allow users to begin a game on the Windows Phone 8 operating system of the Nokia Lumia 928 and then continue it later on their Windows 8 PC operating system, and vice versa. The game will be priced at $6.99 and hit those operating systems in July.

The Nokia Lumia 928 has been available since it debuted on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE system on May 16 of this year, and delivers a speedy processor, high resolution screen, high resolution video capture and NFC wireless support. The Nokia Lumia 920 was a popular phone due to its PureView and PureMotion HD technologies and Windows Phone operating system, but it is fair to call the handset chubby and bulky. The Nokia Lumia 928 4G for Verizon takes all the great qualities of the 920, improves on many of them, and delivers them all in a slimmer and smaller form factor.

The Windows Phone 8 operating system is on board, allowing you to sync the smartphone with your Windows powered PC or laptop. The Lumia 928 handset measures a slim 0.40 inches (10.1 mm) in thickness, but its wafer-thin profile belies the fact that the phone can produce as much as 16.2 hours of talk time and an incredible 25.2 days of standby battery power from a single charge. The display measures 4.50 inches, and that AMOLED screen offers a pixel density of 332 pixels per inch, for an overall resolution of 768 x 1,280 pixels.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 system chip powers the handset, and includes a dual core 1.5 GHz CPU. A full 32 GB of built-in data storage are present, as is 1.0 GB of RAM. The 8.7 megapixel PureView camera on the back of the phone comes complete with a Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, special “lenses” which offer customization features and a special effects package. The Nokia Lumia 928 rear camera records video in 1,080P HD resolution, and offers optical image stabilization (OIS), autofocus and a back illuminated sensor (BSI). The phone also delivers a front facing VGA quality chat cam.

The Nokia Lumia 928 4G Black can be purchased at a discounted price tag now starting at $29.99.
