However, rumors are already abuzz with the speculation that the HTC Titan II is expected to hit the shelves of the wireless carrier on March 18, which coincidentally is the pegged exclusive release date of the Nokia Lumia 900 at AT&T which should make fanboys of the Windows Phone ecosystem even more excited. No price point has been confirmed as of yet to the successor of the HTC Titan but it is best that you start saving up that dinero because there is a strong indication that the rumored March 18 release date of the HTC Titan II at AT&T has a big probability of coming true.

While waiting for more details, confirmation and whatnots regarding the release of the HTC Titan II, we have the specs sheet of the handset coming right up to get you even more excited that you already are, you big Windows Phone fanboy.

As mentioned earlier, the HTC Titan II was jointly announced by HTC and AT&T at CES 2012 back in January and as these rumors suggest, will become available off the shelves of the wireless provide on March 18. The handset has that very common ugly slab of black plastic design aesthetic and its chassis has dimensions of 132 x 69 x 13 mm and it tips the scales at 147 grams.

Under the hood, the specs sheet of the HTC Titan II is even more impressive than that of its predecessor, which is to be expected. The device will ship with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango for its operating system and this will draw power from a QualComm S2 Snapdragon chipset with a Scorpion processor with a clock sped of 1.5 GHz working together with 512 MB of RAM to give the device a snappier and more responsive performance. The HTC Titan II is expected to have 16GB of internal memory but sad to say, a dedicated memory expansion slot is nowhere to be found on the frame of the handset so you should make do with the onboard storage of the device.

In terms of its display, the HTC Titan II will come with a massive SuperLCD panel with a diagonal of 4.7 inches and a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The claim to fame of the handset though is its very impressive camera department which boasts of a rear 16MP camera with backside-illuminated sensor and dual-LED flash. The rear shooter of the HTC Titan II is also capable of 720p video capture at 30 frames per second while its front 1.3MP vide call camera completes the camera ensemble of the handset.

The HTC Titan II and its impressive specs sheet ought to make the Windows Phone fanboys very happy and we can’t wait for March 18 to come so we can have our chance to play with the device.   Buy the original HTC Titan starting at only one penny!
