htconeThe upcoming HTC One 4G Android smartphone will deliver the Jelly Bean 4.1.2 operating system out-of-the-box. It will also debut the 1.7 GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 CPU will and UltraPixel technology. HTC has also included an extended life 2,300 mAh cell, which is sealed and cannot be replaced. Unlike some sealed battery smartphones which offer less than desirable performance, and give you no other option rather than charging your handset all the time, the soon to the released HTC One recently performed rather well in a third-party smartphone battery test.

The average 4G smartphone battery provides approximately 8.0 hours of talk time or 6.0 hours of video playback after a full charge. The HTC One recently delivered a full 16.0 hours of talk time and 8.5 hours of video playback from a single charge, effectively making the handset more portable than the typical smartphone. And when you consider the large 4.70 inch 1,080P Full HD display and quad core processor on the handset burn serious juice, those battery performance numbers are more impressive still.

The handset also delivers the Beats Audio full range sound system, NFC wireless support, the smoother and faster HTC Sense 5 UI Android overlay, and extensive camera feature package. The phone arrives in a new premium metal unibody form factor, and measures a slim 0.37 inch (9.3 mm) in thickness. Display resolution runs 1,080 x 1,920 pixels, and that screen delivers more than 16 million different colors at the highest pixel density we have seen for a smartphone so far, 468 ppi.

A layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protects against chipping and scratching, and the handset is offered in both 32 and 64 GB versions. A full 2.0 GB of RAM system memory is on board, and the highly touted quad core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 CPU powers the handset. HTC has included the Adreno 320 graphics processor in the hardware package, and the HTC One 4G Android smartphone will deliver mobile Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity for multiple wireless devices.

The camera on the back of the handset measures 4.0 UltraPixels, and is capable of recording simultaneous HD video and snapshots. The combination of a built-in LED flash, f/2.0 lens and back illuminated sensor (BSI) makes for excellent low light performance. Video is recorded at 1,080P HD resolution, and features like optical image stabilization, a multishot burst mode, digital zoom, extra-wide panorama mode and special effects enhance camera customization. A 2.1 megapixel chat cam is also on board.
