The HTC Evo 4G LTE is on sale at onlineĀ retailersĀ for as little as $149 for new customers.

Videos are recorded in stereo sound, and features like a back illuminated sensor (BSI) CMOS image sensor and high dynamic range mode (HDR) are on board. The instant image capture feature provides snapshot recording in a blazing 0.7 seconds, even from the lock screen. And the F/2.0 lens captures 40% more light than most smartphone cameras, and joins the built-in LED flash in allowing for excellent low light camera operation. A 1.3 megapixel chat cam rides up front on the Evo 4G LTE.

The handset also offers a huge 4.70 inch Super LCD 2 display that provides excellent extreme viewing angles with IPS technology. Display resolution runs at the high end of the 4G smartphone marketplace, at 720 x 1,280 pixels, delivered at 312 pixels per inch. The built-in kickstand and the powerful Beats Audio package provide video and movie viewing enhancements, and a speedy 1.5 GHz Krait central processor joins an Adreno 225 graphics processor in the Qualcomm MSM8960 microchip package on board. A full 1.0 GB of RAM memory is present, as is 16 GB of built-in storage and a microSD slot. Near Field Communications (NFC) support is present out-of-the-box, and works in tandem with wireless retail payment applications like Google Wallet, also providing wireless data share with other NFC enabled devices.
