googleplayGet ready to see more information about the new Nexus 10 device.  Google has just removed the original tablet from the Google Play Store and that can only mean a couple of things, one of which is that the company is making room for the new one.  The Nexus 5 and the Nexus 10 have been the topic of conversation for some time now and should be ready to ship within in the next week or so.  Consumers waiting around to see the specs for the ASUS Nexus 10, should be getting that information very soon.

Specs for the tablet include a nice, 10-inch 2560×1600 HD touch screen display, the Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor from Qualcomm and 2GB of RAM.  Some rumors suggested that the quad-core processor is going to be the Nvidia Tegra 4, but that has not been confirmed at this time.  The design should be similar to the new Nexus 7 and Nexus 5, with some better internal hardware and Android 4.4 KitKat of course.  The tablet will also be available in a 16GB and 32GB model once it arrives on the market.  The exact date consumers will see the tablet has not been announced, but looking back at last year; the Nexus 7 was first, followed by the Nexus 4, then the Nexus 10.

The Nexus 10 is available in the Play store in the 32GB model, but there is no indication how long that will be for.  Deal sites like eBay and Woot will be looking to get rid of access inventory over the next month as well, so if you are looking for the original, it might be a good time to check out those deals.  The official announcement is expected on the 31st of October, with an actual release of the device shortly after that.

Google has released the second generation Nexus 7 already this year and is looking to get the Nexus 5 smartphone out along with the new Nexus 10.  All three devices, as with other Nexus branded devices, will be upgraded to the latest Android software before any other, so that is a nice option if you chose to stay with the Google family for your smartphone and tablet needs.  Some rumors suggested that Google might also release the next version of Android this year, but nothing has been confirmed.
