bbz10bOffered at the discounted on contact price tag of $99 at Amazon from AT&T and Verizon, the BlackBerry Z10 is the newest BlackBerry smartphone. It debuts the brand-new BlackBerry 10 operating system, and has been entirely revamped. The familiar QWERTY keyboard is gone from previous BlackBerries, replaced with a large 4.2 inch touchscreen. The new BlackBerry 10 operating system is also an excellent multitasker, and the handset arrived in the United States in March of this year.

The Blackberry Z10 is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $99.99.

BlackBerry, formerly RIM, calls the Z10 “the fastest, most advanced BlackBerry smartphone yet” and it would be hard to argue with that statement. Any current conversations or messaging you have going on is accessible any time from any application with the new BlackBerry Hub, and the handset has been designed in a slim 0.35 inch (9.0 mm) form factor. Lightweight at just 4.85 ounces (138 g), the BlackBerry Z10 accepts capacitive, multitouch gestures for device navigation on the large 4.2 inch LCD display with 768 by 1,280 pixel resolution.

Pixel density is extremely high at 356 pixels per inch, and more than 16 million colors can be found on that display. Talk time runs up to 10.0 hours from a single battery charge, with standby time lasting approximately 13.0 days. Easily the most powerful BlackBerry smartphone from a hardware standpoint, the BlackBerry Z10 4G handset is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core CPU, and 2.0 GB of RAM memory provides excellent multitasking and simultaneous voice and data access.

The handset offers 16 GB of internal storage space, but also adds a microSD slot that supports external memory cards up to 64 GB in size. The built-in music player that comes preloaded on the BlackBerry Z10 can filter by album title, artist name and play lists, and video mirroring is possible via DLNA wireless and microHDMI wired connectivity options. The handset is also NFC capable out-of-the-box, and can perform as a mobile Wi-Fi hub for other wireless devices.

Built into the back of the handset is an 8.0 megapixel camcorder with built-in LED flash and f/2.2 lens, which offers autofocus, touch to focus and digital image stabilization features. Video is recorded at the rate of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (1,080P HD resolution), and the BlackBerry Z10 also offers a front facing 2.0 megapixel chat cam with video call functionality. The BlackBerry 10 operating system provides instant Internet access out-of-the-box via the onboard mobile web browser, and Bluetooth 4.0 wireless support is present.

You can purchase the Blackberry Z10 at a discounted price tag now starting at $99.99.
