attStreaming music is becoming very popular to those with high end smartphones and other mobile devices and now it looks like mobile carriers would like to try and entice users to their networks by offering services along with their data plans.  AT&T is one of those companies that is offering streaming music to the entire family for just $14.99 per month.  AT&T is teaming up with Beats Audio to offer a streaming music solution for the entire family and it will be the first in the country to do so.

Beats Audio is owned and operated by Dr. Dre and has more than 20 million tracks that you can stream 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and now it will be an add-on to your AT&T account for just $14.99 per month starting on the 21st of January.  There are other services on the market that offer similar options like Pandora and Google Play Music, but AT&T is looking to make the service more desirable by partnering up with Dr. Dre and Beats Audio.  Most of the HTC handsets on the market already offer the quality Beats technology built into them, so using the streaming music service is just the next step.

Once the service launches, it will be easier to see whether or not it can compare to other services like Pandora, Spotify, Google Play Music, iTunes and all of the others.  Each program offers a slightly different experience, but in the end it is all about the streaming music.  AT&T is hoping that 24 hour access to more than 20 million songs for less than $15 per month per account will be enough to get more people to join their network.

The $15 per month will get you access to music on up to 5 devices that you have on your account.  The access through those 5 devices can be extended on up to 10 devices total, giving the entire family access to the same great music catalog for one low price.  If you would like to try the service out, AT&T is offering it to new users free for 90 days so you can easily try it out before you commit.  If you do not have a family plan, you can get access to a single line and 3 devices for just $9.99 per month.
