attdishSmartphone shoppers looking for a bargain price value on a full-featured bestseller just got 6 more AT&T 4G LTE markets to support the globally hot Galaxy S III smartphone. The handset was recently spotted at the Amazon Wireless store retailing for the reduced price of $79 on contract for the 16 GB version running on the AT&T 4G LTE network in the US. AT&T has been aggressively rolling out 4G LTE service across the United States, and while Verizon still has the largest network, AT&T is growing at a faster rate.

The Galaxy S III for ATT is available for a reduced sale price that saves you $120 now starting at $79.99.

The 6 new markets to receive US LTE 4G coverage from AT&T are Northwest Georgia; Albany, Georgia; Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; Cecil County, Maryland; Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Portsmouth, Virginia and Bucks County, Pennsylvania. At the end of 2012 AT&T claimed more than 103 major markets in the United States with 4G LTE connectivity, and spokesmen for the wireless service provider said they will continue their aggressive rollout schedule.

Phones like the Samsung Galaxy S III are perfect for a 4G LTE network for several reasons. First off, the handset has a powerful dual core processor and plenty of RAM memory. The large high-resolution True HD screen is often used for watching HD movies and video clips, and a reliable and speedy network is required to deliver high upload and download speeds. Joining that speedy network on the Galaxy S III is the faster and smoother Android operating system, Jelly Bean 4.1.

That Android OS made significant improvements over Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0, the biggest being a much smoother user interface, quicker overall performance and an improved Google Now contextual search feature and virtual personal assistant. The Samsung Galaxy S III for AT&T is slim at 0.34 inches (8.6 mm), and light in comparison to other 4G smartphones with such a large display, at 4.73 ounces (134 g).

The large 4.80 inch Super AMOLED screen delivers a resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels, protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass. Video capture runs 1,080P HD resolution with the handset’s rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder, and that rear snapper can simultaneously record high definition video and images. The front facing chat cam also offers video call support, and the handset is powered by a dual core 1.5 GHz CPU. A full 2.0 GB of RAM memory is on board, as is 16 GB of built-in storage. The handset is also available in a 32 GB model, and a microSD slot provides storage expansion opportunities.

You can purchase the Galaxy S III for ATT and save up to $120 with a discounted price tag now starting at $79.99.
