verizonlogo3Verizon Wireless offered one of the best deals for the brand new Galaxy S5 via the Amazon website, but by the time the pricing hit the web, it was only a matter of hours before the device sold out and left late comers wishing they would have known about the deal sooner.  Verizon will be shipping the brand new device on the 11th of April and now that the best price on the web is gone, users will be expected to pay $199.99 with a new 2-year contract.

AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular are all expected to have the device ready to ship on the 11th, but if you were quick, you just got the best deal that arrived online in months.  Verizon Wireless had the Samsung Galaxy S5 in the 16GB option listed for just $99 with a new 2-year contract, but that did not last long at all.  As the price flowed across the web, users flocked to the Amazon website to make the purchase and complete the pre-order process if they were able to.  Once the phone is back in stock, it could be offered at the same price, but there is no way to know whether that will happen before the April 11th release date.

Amazon offered the deal that was $100 cheaper than buying through Verizon Wireless and $90 cheaper than AT&T and Sprint.  Both AT&T and Sprint have the device on Amazon via pre-orders as of right now and have the device in stock.  One online source that reached out to Amazon was told that all available stock of the Galaxy S5 have been sold, meaning that it has been sold out.  If you do not want to miss the same deal, the only thing you can do is keep an eye on the listing page to see if the items are back in stock soon.

The Galaxy S5 is set to replace the popular Galaxy S4 from last year and the odds are very good that not only will the device be available on all 5 major mobile carriers, but that it will also show up on some of the more regional mobile carriers throughout the country.  The Galaxy S4 even showed up on pre-paid networks like StraightTalk, Boost Mobile and others, the only difference there is that you are paying close to full retail price.
