iphone6Apple has made a comment more than once that its next generation iPhone will be coming to the market with a little more Apple in it, compared to Samsung hardware installed.  The iPhone 6 rumors have started already and according to insiders that are familiar with things over at Apple, the new phone could possess more hardware made by Apple rather than its competition, mostly Samsung.  Of course Apple is going to use the iPhone 6 name for the next iPhone and even though the release of the iPhone 5S was just a few weeks ago, some are already talking about the sixth installment in the iPhone line.

Apple has been testing devices with larger displays and a device that is most likely going to be running the A8 processor.  Apple has slowly been upgrading to a new full version of the processor with each model since the iPhone 4S, with the Samsung A7 processor coming with the iPhone 5S.  Latest rumors indicate that Samsung is not going to be a part of the processor in the next iPhone.  According to a publication from Korea, Apple is looking to limit the amount of Samsung made hardware in the next iPhone.

The iPhone 6 will not come without any Samsung hardware, but a deal with TSMC will account for about 70 percent of the smartphone components.  The remaining 30 percent of the chips will be developed and shipped from Samsung.  Rumors that the two companies were going to split up have been coming and going over the last year or more, so this news is not much of a surprise.  One recent rumor said that TSMC would be offering the iPhone 6 with the A7 processor, but Apple went with that processor from Samsung for the iPhone 5S.

Even though Apple seems to be parting ways with Samsung as a chip maker for the iPhone 6, a rumor suggests that Samsung could be back with the A9 processor in 2015 with the iPhone 7.  Just like the iPhone 5S, the A8 processor in the iPhone 6 could provide new features exclusive to the device.  The iPhone 5S is the first 64-bit phone and the processor enables for faster apps, better in-game graphics and new features for the camera.  Videos have been posted online to show the A7 in action.
