tmobileBesides talking about the Galaxy Note 3 from Samsung all the time, the iPhone release date is another hot topic in the mobile world and according to one leak, consumers might finally know exactly when they will have a chance to pick up the new iPhone 5S from Apple.  The initial release date was supposedly going to be the 20th of September and a new bit of leaked information might have confirmed that.  An internal T-Mobile document claims that there will be no vacation days around the 20th of September, giving more truth to the 20th as a possible release date.  T-Mobile will need to have any and all employees ready to sell that day.

Apple will be revealing the iPhone 5S and the cheaper model iPhone 5C on the 10th of September and that will no doubt add to the anticipation of the newest smartphone from Apple.  By the time the 20th rolls around consumers are going to be lined up all over the country to get their hands on the new device.  Apple also typically keeps to a repeating schedule when it comes to releasing the iPhone over the last few years, so it is quite easy to estimate when the release date will be within a couple weeks.

T-Mobile is not the only place that will restrict vacation days around a huge launch like the iPhone, as many retailers across the globe brace for the influx of consumers looking to pick up the shiny new device all on the same day, or weekend.  Apple sells more smartphones within the weekend of launch than any other manufacturer in the market.  Even delivery companies have put vacation restrictions out there so that there is plenty of staff ready to ship and deliver the new smartphone.

Even though T-Mobile was the only major mobile carrier to leak this information that does not mean that employees at Sprint, AT&T and Verizon Wireless are getting the same treatment.  For the first time, US Cellular is planning to sell the iPhone the same year that it arrives on the market, so that will reduce some of the pressure on all of the other carriers a little bit.  Most of the retailers that plan to carry the new iPhone this year, will be opening a couple of hours early just to make sure there is enough time to get through the long lines of people.
