galaxynote3bSprint began their first ever 4G LTE network in the United States this year, and the Galaxy Note 3 is arguably the fastest handset running on that speedy platform. Behind record Cyber Monday sales, Amazon has decided to extend holiday pricing through what it is calling Cyber Monday Deals Week. Phones like the Galaxy Note 3 helped Amazon reach record Cyber Monday sales, and the Internet as a whole tabulated a staggering $2.29 billion in sales on Cyber Monday alone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $149.99 – $749.00.

That makes this past Monday, December 2, the biggest online shopping day in history. And Amazon gobbled up a large slice of that financial pie, announcing record sales without stating a specific number. Amazon said they will announce sales as soon as they have been verified, and also announced that they would be continuing the $199.99 on contract sale price for the Sprint Galaxy Note 3 smartphone when purchased from the Amazon Wireless store.

The Galaxy Note 3 is the third generation big-screen smartphone/tablet which debuted in October of this year. And while smartphone shoppers love big displays, no one loves a phone if it is so big you simply cannot handle it. That is what caused industry analysts to predict that the original Galaxy Note (5.3 inch display) was simply too large to be popular. That phone went on to become a bestseller, and was followed by the Galaxy Note II, which improved display size to 5.5 inches, but also grew the overall dimensions of the handset.

Samsung has stretched the 5.7 inch display on the Galaxy Note 3 from edge to edge and corner to corner, effectively making the display larger than the Galaxy Note II screen, while also making the device smaller overall. Another technological advancement on that display is the appearance of a Full HD 1,080P touchscreen for the first time on a Galaxy Note device. But physical dimensions and visual displays are not the only areas in which Samsung made advancements on the Galaxy Note 3 over previous Galaxy Note smartphones.

The Galaxy Note 3 arrives as the very first mobile device in the world to deliver a generous 3.0 GB of RAM memory. This guarantees blazing fast multitasking and efficient multiscreen support, which is backed up by the Snapdragon 800 quad core central processor which has been clocked at a speed of 2.3 GHz, making it one of the fastest smartphone processors ever. A full 25 hours of talk time is available after a full battery charge, 32 GB of built-in data storage is present, as is a microSD slot supporting external memory cards up to 64 GB in size. The previous Galaxy Note models had an 8.0 megapixel snapper, and the main camera on the Galaxy Note 3 delivers an improved 13 megapixel sensor capable of 4K video capture.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 can be purchased at a discounted price tag now starting at $149.99 – $749.00.
