htcsense5Those of you with an HTC branded smartphone might have been waiting around for the latest updates to the Sense user interface, as well as the Android 4.3 updates.  The good news is that you will not have to wait much longer, but the bad news is that it will only be sent out to the international versions at first.  HTC has not confirmed any of this information, but insiders are speculating that the company is planning to get the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software, as well as the Sense 5.5 updates out to certain smartphones.

The HTC One 4G is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $49.99$0.01 – $539.99.

HTC is going to be sending out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to those with the international version of the HTC One, according to reports.  The Sense 5.5 will be sent out to the HTC One, HTC Butterfly S and the HTC One Mini.  It was earlier this month that HTC reported that it would be getting the Android 4.3 software to the HTC One devices activated in the United States sometime in September.  Just recently, the Sense 5.5 update was promised for the HTC One Max and now we are learning even more information about the intentions of HTC.

The information is coming from a well known Twitter account that has been proven to have credible information about smartphones in the past.  The tweet reads “About 4.3 update for HTC One. It will have 2 waves, first wave http://3.1x.xxx .x builds will be released in US with Sense 5.0 on board.”  That is clearly enough information for users to speculate about the devices from HTC.  For those that have the international version of the HTC One, you will be getting Android 4.3 and Sense 5.5 right along with it, bringing your device all the way up to date.

Other Sense 5.5 updates might not hit the market until after the HTC One Max is launched, but other than being promised during the fourth quarter, there is no exact release date for the 6-inch phablet.  The HTC One Max has been talked about a little more over the last month, but the overall features and specs are still unknown.  Nevertheless, the HTC One Max is supposed to be taking on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which was just announced via Samsung.  Without knowing the exact specs it will be hard to tell.

The HTC One 4G can be purchased at a discounted price tag now starting at $49.99$0.01 – $539.99.
