galaxynote3Just a couple of days after the official launch of the iPhone 5S from Apple, it looks like rumors are being added to the many that have been relayed to those listening online about the Galaxy Note 3.  The device, which is going to be one of the more popular handsets that Samsung will be releasing this year, was announced at the beginning of this month and now it looks like some of the rumors are pointing to a couple of things that could get plenty of attention from consumers.

The first rumor being that Samsung is going to be making sure that the device has a flexible display installed on it when it launches.  That rumor is not that far from the truth as a flexible display has been getting talked about for a few years now.  There is another rumor that Samsung might actually follow in the footsteps of Apple and release a lower cost version of the Galaxy Note 3 at the same time.  Starting on the 25th of this month, it looks like some of you will be seeing the Galaxy Note 3 and reports that are coming right from Korea are suggesting that Samsung might bring a lower cost model that will come with an LCD display and a lower quality camera.

Changing those two things will bring the cost of the device down and could make the phablet more affordable for users that want to take the next step and move up to the larger device rather that stick with a 4.5-inch display, which is about the average of most smartphones on the market today.  If the company goes with two models, the higher end display will get the flexible Youm display, while the other will not.

The Galaxy Note 3 is going to come with a new design, faster processor, better camera and more features that the second generation made available to consumers.  According to one source online, Samsung is still getting things together for the Note 3 release and it could mean changes from what was first showcased by the company earlier this year.  Earlier this year, Samsung showcased the Youm display technology at the Consumer Electronics Show, right alongside the Exynos 5 Octa processor, both of which should be coming with the new device.
