The versatile Motorola Droid Razr MAXX Android smartphone can function as an entry-level 10 inch or 14 inch laptop, in-vehicle GPS and hands-free voice activated search system, and multimedia hub or desktop PC when coupled with optional Motorola accessories. The handset also delivers the most out-of-the-box data storage of any 4G smartphone at 32 GB, as well as the maximum talk time of any smartphone from a single battery charge. Just recently, select online smartphone retailers have reduced the retail price of the Verizon Droid Razr MAXX 4G to around $69 on contract.

The Motorola Droid Razr Maxx is on sale now starting at 69.99.

The handset arrived on January 26 of this year on the Verizon 4G LTE system that provides speeds 10 times faster than their 3G network. With the familiar splash resistant and DuPont Kevlar and aluminum coating, as well as the nanocoating which provides protection even for the electoral components inside, the handset returns popular high-end features that were debuted with the Motorola Droid Razr 4G. The Motorola Droid Razr MAXX also delivers simultaneous voice and data capabilities, giving you the opportunity to check e-mail or browse the web while in the middle of a voice call.

The handset is slim at 0.35 inches (8.99 mm) in thickness, and delivers a large 4.30 inch screen with 540 x 960 pixel resolution. Pixel density is above average at 256 pixels per inch, and the Super AMOLED Advanced screen accepts standard capacitive, multitouch gestures to operate the handset. A layer of Gorilla Glass offers scratch protection for the display, with standard light and proximity sensors built in.

The 4G best 21.50 hours of talk time from a single charge comes from a combination of the battery conserving proximity sensor and the oversized, extended life 3,300 mA battery on board the handset. A dual core 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 central processor is at the cornerstone of the Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 microchip package on board the Motorola Droid Razr MAXX 4G. And a PowerVR SGX540 GPU handles all graphics processing. Video out is achieved by either microHDMI or DLNA connectivity.

The Droid Razr MAXX 4G contains 1.0 GB of Ram system memory, and has a microSD slot built in for storage expansion. 16 GB of data storage are built-in, and the handset ships with a removable 16 GB microSD card. A rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder offers video capture at 1,080P HD resolution and offers autofocus and a built-in LED flash, while the front facing chat cam delivers video call support.
