droidrazrmThe Motorola Droid Razr M 4G runs on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network in the United States. That handset is a successful attempt by Motorola Mobility designers and engineers to create the smallest possible form factor, yet still include a large high resolution display. Arriving smaller, lighter and thinner than other 4G smartphones with the same size 4.3 inch touchscreen, the Droid Razr M 4G also boasts the new Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system, a speedy dual core processor and a brand-new bargain bin retail price tag.

The Droid Razr M is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $0.01.

During the annual Amazon Wireless end of year sale at the Amazon Wireless store, the Droid Razr M 4G can be purchased for under $50 on contract. You have your choice of black or white body color, and the rugged DuPont Kevlar back plate from previous Droid Razr models has returned. The handset also offers aircraft grade aluminum framing, a scratch resistant layer of Gorilla Glass that protects against everyday wear and tear, and a special nanocoating which offers splash-proof protection.

The handset offers NFC wireless support out-of-the-box, as well as the Chrome for Android web browser for surfing the internet. The compact handset weighs 4.44 ounces (126 g), and measures 4.82 x 2.40 x 0.33 inches (122.5 x 60.9 x 8.3 mm) in size. Small and compact though it may be, the screen is a large 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED model that has been stretched from edge to edge on the front of the handset. Resolution runs 540 x 960 pixels, delivered at 256 pixels per inch.

More than 16 million separate colors are found on that display, which accepts the standard capacitive, multitouch gestures for device navigation. The Motorola Droid Razr M 4G offers DLNA video out, and the built-in light and proximity sensors help conserve battery power. That assists the 2,000 mA lithium-ion cell on the handset in delivering a full 20.0 hours of talk time from a single battery charge. Standby battery power will run you approximately 17.0 days.

Popular applications Picasa and YouTube have been pre-installed, and a Bluetooth Stereo music player is built-in. In the hardware package, a dual core 1.5 GHz Krait CPU is the cornerstone of a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 microchip set, which also contains an Adreno 225 graphics processor. 8.0 GB of data storage are built-in, as is 1.0 GB of RAM system memory. The handset also delivers storage expansion functionality through the built-in microSD slot. On the back of the handset is an 8.0 megapixel camcorder capable of 1,080P HD video recording resolution, and a chat cam is built into the front of the Droid Razr M 4G, supporting video calls.

The Droid Razr M is available for a discounted price tag now starting at $0.01.
