The Motorola Droid Razr M 4G Android smartphone is more compact and lightweight than the typical handset with a 4.3 inch screen, and delivers the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system and Chrome for Android web browser. It also runs on the 4G LTE network from Verizon, the wireless service provider Consumer Reports recently called the top cellular provider in the United States. The handset is offered in your choice of either black or white, and hit the United States on September 10.

The Motorola Droid Razr M is available for just the change in your pocket now starting at $0.01.

The Droid Razr M 4G is substantially narrower and shorter than the original Droid Razr, but still skinny at 0.33 inches (8.3 mm), yet delivers the same display size. Google Maps with Navigation is pre-installed, allowing you to type or speak your destination and receive turn by turn directions and voice guidance. You can also program your favorite points along your destination route. Lighter than the typical 4G smartphone, the handset weighs 4.44 ounces (126 g).

The 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED display runs 4.30 inches, with Motorola running that display from edge to edge with a nearly nonexistent bezel. That puts all the attention on the 540 x 960 pixel resolution screen, and also creates the smallest possible body size. Pixel density runs 256 pixels per inch, and over 16 million different colors are present on that display. As with previous Droid Razr models, scratch resistant Gorilla Glass protects the screen, a special nanocoating give splash-proof protection, and the Droid Razr M handset is durably designed with Kevlar and aluminum.

DLNA wireless connectivity provides video out options, and the Droid Razr M for Verizon recently received a substantial price reduction during the Amazon Wireless holiday sale to only one penny on contract. That bargain basement price belies one of the best battery performances of any smartphone, with the 2,000 mA battery on board providing a full 20.0 hours of talk time from a single charge. The handset delivers 8.0 GB of built-in data storage and 1.0 GB of RAM system memory, with a microSD slot provided for storage expansion.

The CPU is a powerful dual core 1.5 GHz Krait chip, and the Adreno 225 GPU in the hardware package handles all graphics processing. A Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 system chip is present, and the handset provides 1,080P HD resolution video capture with its rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder. That rear snapper comes equipped with an LED flash and extensive feature package, while the front facing chat cam provides video call support. Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk and Picasa integration is present, with a built-in music player in the multimedia package on board the Droid Razr M 4G.

You can purchase the Droid Razr M for just pennies now starting at $0.01.
