HTC Droid DNA’s Beats Audio Delivers 2.5 Volt Headset Amplifier

htcdroiddnaThe HTC Droid DNA is a 4G smartphone running on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE system in the US. That handset recently benefited from a substantial price reduction at select online retail outlets, and has been spotted at the Amazon Wireless store with a price tag of $49 on contract. The Droid DNA 4G is known for delivering one of the largest high resolution displays of any smartphone, a powerful quad core processor, the Jelly Bean operating system and substantial RAM memory.

But the handset also offers the exclusive Beats Audio sound system which comes equipped with dedicated speaker amplifiers. Sound quality and quantity is ramped up substantially, and the HTC Droid DNA also delivers a 2.5 V headset amplifier. All applications which access audio on the handset benefit from the Beats Audio full range sound enhancement, including the built-in music player which lets you filter your music choices by album title, artist name and play lists.

The handset was released late last November for Verizon, and offers a slim profile with full-featured hardware package. The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system is on board and works with the HTC sense UI, supporting multitouch, capacitive gestures. Twice the average amount of RAM memory for a smartphone is offered at 2.0 GB, and high resolution video capture runs 1,080P HD with the rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder.

The HTC Droid DNA 4G offers a front facing video call capable camera which can also be used for video chats. The handset has a unibody design made of a tough polycarbonate, and the distinctive red side grills and seamless laminated screen make for a very sleek and slim design. The focal point of the HTC Droid DNA 4G is definitely its large 5.0 inch display with industry-leading 441 ppi pixel density. Resolution on that screen runs 1,080 x 1,920 pixels.

Slim at 0.38 inches (9.73 mm), the HTC Droid DNA 4G uses more than 16 million colors to render visual displays, and that screen is protected against scratching and chipping by a layer of Gorilla Glass. Talk time on the Verizon network runs approximately 12.6 hours off of a full battery charge, and the handset is powered by a quad core 1.5 GHz Krait CPU. HD video capture and snapshot recording is available simultaneously via the rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder. The HTC Droid DNA 4G is also NFC capable out-of-the-box, and can function as a mobile Wi-Fi hot spot for multiple wireless devices.
