galaxys3newThe Samsung Galaxy S III is arguably the hottest smartphone on the planet currently. The best-selling phone globally during the 3rd quarter this year, the handset hit the AT&T 4G LTE network on June 22 this summer. Offered in a variety of colors and either 16 GB or 32 GB models, the AT&T Galaxy S III arrives with the Samsung TouchWiz UX UI meshing with Android’s v4.1 operating system, Jelly Bean. Slim and light for a 4G phone with a large 4.8 inch display, the AT&T Galaxy S III measures 0.34 inches (8.6mm) in thickness, and weighs 4.73 ounces (134 g).

The Samsung Galaxy S III for ATT is available for a reduced price now starting at $99.99.

The large 4.80 inch display is a Super AMOLED screen that renders visuals in more than 16 million different colors. 306 pixels are present over every inch of display space, and this gives that display a 720 x 1,280 pixel resolution overall. The touchscreen accepts standard capacitive, multitouch gestures for device navigation, light and proximity sensors offer auto screen brightness adjustment and power conservation, and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass offers scratch resistance.

The AT&T Samsung Galaxy S III 4G Android smartphone offers 8.3 days of standby battery power from a single charge, as well as 8.0 hours of talk time. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 microchip package, with a dual core 1.5 GHz Krait CPU at its cornerstone. With double the average amount of RAM memory out-of-the-box, the AT&T Galaxy S III offers a full 2.0 GB of RAM. An Adreno 225 GPU handles all graphics processing, and both 16 GB and 32 GB models come equipped with a microSD slot for storage expansion.

Popular applications Facebook, Picasa, YouTube and Twitter have been pre-installed, and the handset offers Near Field Communications (NFC) access out-of-the-box. Built into the back of the ATT Samsung Galaxy S III 4G is an 8.0 megapixel camcorder, with a 1.9 megapixel chat cam facing the user up front. That rear snapper comes equipped with an LED flash, special effects package, face and smile detection and image stabilization, and can capture still snapshots while simultaneously recording HD video.

Video is recorded in 1,080 P HD resolution, and high-end camera features like exposure compensation, ISO control, a multishot burst mode, CMOS image sensor and a back illuminated sensor (BSI) are also on board. A built-in music player is found in the AT&T Galaxy S III multimedia package, equipped with both custom and preset equalizers. The front facing chat cam on board the handset can be used to place video calls, and also for capturing portrait snapshots.

You can purchase the Galaxy S III for ATT now starting at $99.99.
