The new OS update is also quicker and smoother then Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) 4.0, and you can choose between a titanium gray or marble white Galaxy Note II. AT&T offers simultaneous voice and data access on their 4G LTE network, meaning that you do not have to interrupt a voice call to check your e-mail, browse the web or tap out a text message.
The handset arrived on the AT&T network on November 9, and is skinny at 0.37 inches (9.3 mm). With a large Gorilla Glass 2 scratch-protected 5.55 inch screen that is in a true HD 16 to 9 aspect ratio, the handset delivers more than 16 million colors when rendering visuals. The AT&T Galaxy Note II provides an overall Super AMOLED display resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels, delivered at 265 pixels per inch. Single charge talk time is generous at 15.0 hours, also providing 12.0 days of battery standby power.
The handset’s multimedia package includes a YouTube video player, built-in music player with filtering capabilities, and Stereo FM radio with RDS display. Popular social networking destinations Facebook, Picasa and Twitter have been pre-installed, and a front facing chat cam with video call support joins a rear mounted 8.0 megapixel chat cam in the camera combo.
The camcorder offers auto focus, multi shot burst mode, a panorama mode, special scenes, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, image stabilization, a back-illuminated sensor (BSI) and an LED flash. That rear device provides 1,080P HD video recording, and the AT&T Galaxy Note II is powered by a quad core 1.6 GHz central processor. 2.0 GB of RAM memory are on board, as is 16 GB of storage that is built in, and storage is enhanced by a microSD for storage expansion.
