lumia1020yellowThe Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone offers a large HD+ display, a speedy processor, generous RAM memory, and support for the AT&T 4G LTE network in the United States. As you probably know, the phone is generally reported to deliver the best and most powerful camera any smartphone has ever offered. A breakdown of the camera features and capabilities makes it hard to argue that point, and a recent price check revealed that the Matte Yellow Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone recently received a substantial price reduction.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $149$149.99 – $699.00.

Currently offered for $99 on contract at Amazon, the Lumia 1020 running the Microsoft Windows Phone 8 operating system hit the AT&T 4G network in late July of this year. This is the first time which Nokia has made their groundbreaking PureView Phase 1 and Phase 2 mobile camera technologies available on a mobile device. The high-tech camera includes a large 1/1.5 inch 41 megapixel sensor with optical image stabilizing technology, as well as 4X lossless zoom when snapping images with no moving subjects.

In 720P video mode, 6X lossless zoom is capable, and the advanced six element lens of the Carl Zeiss optics system joins Nokia’s pixel binning technology to deliver unrivaled video and image quality. While the typical smartphone owner will be able to access and use the camera easily and quickly, and benefit from the matchless quality, the special effects and customization package on board the Nokia Lumia 1020 deliver multiple benefits to the more demanding mobile photographer.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 AT&T smartphone also recently received an announcement that it would be getting a software upgrade which delivers RAW image processing support to its already more than capable camera. RAW processing perfectly and exactly re-creates any image you capture, which includes noise and other less than attractive details that are usually cleaned up with other imaging technologies like JPEG. This will not appeal to the typical smartphone owner, but seasoned mobile photographers welcome this new image support.

The phone also delivers HAAC mics that can perfectly re-create the sounds they are recording, and are capable of high fidelity stereo recording. The new software update for the Nokia Lumia 1020 on AT&T will also deliver what the company is calling a “refocus” feature. After you have captured an image, you can then head over to the Nokia Refocus website and actually change the central focus of that snapshot. The Nokia Lumia 1020 also delivers multiple special effects and customization features.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 can be purchased at a discounted price tag now starting at $149$149.99 – $699.00.
