When the HTC One X running on the new AT&T 4G LTE network arrived, it was one of the first handsets to offer simultaneous high-resolution video and image capture. That handset also delivers one of the largest displays found on any smartphone, protective Gorilla Glass coating and speedy processor. Delivering Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) 4.0 operating system out-of-the-box was also another attractive feature. For those Android smartphone shoppers who have yet to pull the trigger and purchase an HTC One X, their patience was recently rewarded by AT&T, as they dropped the retail price of that handset to $119 on contract at select retailers.
Offered in Gray or White in a slim 0.35 inch (8.9 mm) thick chassis, the HTC One X handset weighs only 4.55 ounces (129 g). That skinny body belies the powerful hardware and software on board, as is evidenced by the 4.70 inch Super LCD 2 display. That display is represented in more than 16 million different colors and 312 pixels per inch resolution, for an overall display resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels. Corning’s Gorilla Glass offers a layer of scratch resistance and glare reduction.
The standard light and proximity sensors built into the display help conserve battery life, resulting in an above average 8.50 hours talk time from a single charge of the 1,800 mA cell. Standby time sits at approximately 12.5 days, and a Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon microchip package powers the handset. That includes a dual core 1.5 GHz Krait central processor, and an Adreno 225 chip handles all the graphics processing. 16 GB of storage is built into the handset, and a full 1.0 GB of RAM memory is on board.
The HTC One X 4G Android smartphone delivers an 8.0 megapixel camcorder with LED flash, back illuminated sensor (BSI), autofocus, geo-tagging and high dynamic range mode (HDR) features. That rear mounted device provides video capture at 1,920 x 1,080 (1,080P HD), and a front facing 1.3 megapixel chat cam is also on board. In the multimedia suite, a built-in music player joins a proprietary YouTube video player and full range Beats Audio software package.
The handset also delivers Near Field Communications (NFC) support out-of-the-box, which provides wireless retail payment processing access at NFC supporting retail outlets when used with applications like Google Wallet. Active noise cancellation is present on the dedicated mic, benefiting applications like Google Talk. Google Search, Google Maps and Gmail applications come pre-installed as well. The HTC One X is currently available starting at $119 at select retailers.

I just picked up my HTC phone yesterday. I was charged 199.00 for it.
I would like a credit to my account since you are selling it for 119.

I’m sorry, we don’t sell the phone. Select online retailers are offering the phone for the reduced price which you can see if you follow the links in the story, but I’m not aware of anybody offering a credit if you purchase the phone elsewhere at a higher price. I’m sorry. Perhaps the carrier will negotiate with you. Good luck.

Almost paid $179. today but RS doesn’t carry them in gray thank goodness and the local AT&T store wouldn’t price match that price. I came home to do some more research on it and found this article. Just in time! Thanks.

The new pricing only seems to be for NEW activations or maybe an upgrade. I also just added a line with Amazon and paid $174.99 still not bad as ATT is still $199.99 plus tax.
IT is a pretty cool phone I must say not to impressed with Sammy on this one.
