The mobile revolution is advancing with the help of Apple. Thirty three new countries are being invaded with an online Apple app store.

Its not enough to be one of the highest valued companies in the world, Apple wants to spread their mobile love around. There are 33 new countries that will be enjoying the custom programming of Apple devices. The new countries are; Algeria, Angola, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belarus, Belize, Bermuda, Bolivia, British Virgin Islands, Brunei, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Dominica, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, Iceland, Montserrat, Nigeria, Oman, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Suriname, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos, Uzbekistan and Yemen.

The Apple App store started back in July of 2008 and has since been the major money maker for all large app stores. They are currently outdoing the Android app market by leaps and bounds with an estimated $1.8 billion dollars in store revenue. The reason for their success is the “walled garden” approach and the fact that less apps are free in the Apple App store. For comparison, the Apple App store has 28 percent free apps while the Android market has more than 57 percent of their apps offered for free.

With local searches and services becoming ever more prevalent, programmers in the new countries now have some new employment. Creating jobs is one of the number one needs in many countries, since many people in the world live on two dollars a day. The popularity of the Apple App Store is undeniable. Just this month Apple reached a breakthrough of sorts when they passed the 15 billion download mark. At times Apple offers certain downloaders a huge bonus for being the “lucky” downloader. For example, the “lucky” ten billionth downloader from their app store received a $10,000 app store gift. That happened earlier this year.

Those who have worked for the Cupertino based Apple company as programmers in their app store have been rewarded handsomely. The developers have received $2.5 billion dollars for their efforts over the past few years. Now those rewards are going to be expanded to 33 new countries across the globe.

People are already excited about the new app store from Apple. One person exclaimed, “Alright Barbados woot woot !!!”. Belize is chiming in with, “Go Belize !”. As it stands there are many more countries that need the Apple app store. Look for Apple to bring the mobile revolution to their doorstep as well.
